OB/GYN Ultrasound

Course Description

This course is designed to develop expertise in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound imaging by integrating fundamental ultrasound principles with advanced imaging techniques. Participants will learn to optimize ultrasound machine settings, assess maternal-fetal circulation using Doppler, and detect pregnancy complications. The course covers fetal growth evaluation, anomaly detection, placental assessment, and gynecological pathology identification. Through high-resolution pelvic imaging, participants will enhance their ability to diagnose early pregnancy conditions and gynecological disorders, ensuring improved patient care and clinical outcomes.

The main objectives of this program are to:

  1. To understand ultrasound principles, machine settings, and image optimization.
  2. To Assess maternal-fetal blood flow and detect abnormalities using Doppler.
  3. To confirm pregnancy, assess viability, and detect early complications.
  4. To evaluate fetal growth, anatomy, placenta, and detect anomalies.
  5. To identify IUGR types, assess fetal circulation, and monitor fetal well-being.
  6. To detect structural anomalies and differentiate normal vs. abnormal anatomy.
  7. To assess ovarian/uterine blood flow and identify gynecological pathologies.
  8. To evaluate fetal-placental circulation and detect pregnancy complications.
  9. To perform high-resolution pelvic imaging for early pregnancy and gynecological conditions.
